Lelu Oware is a free game of Oware (Nam-Nam and Abapa rules) for iPhone and iPad, made in celebration of the people who carve the boards and the players who gather round them.

Common questions

• Seeds appear without moving. Check iOS Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Motion. With Reduce Motion on, seeds still travel but without tumble or bounce. In the game’s own Settings, check Sowing speed.
• No sound. The game follows your phone’s Silent mode. Switch Silent off, and check Sound is on in the game’s Settings.
• How do I capture? Your last seed must land on the other player’s row and leave that house with two or three seeds. The full rules are in the app under More ▸ Rules & heritage.
• Tips. The optional tips in Settings unlock nothing; every chapter and board look is free.

Privacy

No account and no ads. The game sends only anonymous usage statistics, which you can switch off in Settings ▸ Share anonymous usage stats. See the privacy policy.
